The Ikusasa Imfundo Trust was established to assist young black South Africans gain access to the economy by helping them with the costs of their tertiary education and to start building the bridge to their commercial IT careers.
The Trust seeks beneficiaries who are passionate about their studies and their chosen career path. Individuals with spark, who are invested in our beautiful South Africa.
Founder and Trustees
Our founder, Gia Clarke and trustees; Gia Clarke, Pebble Hlubi, and Bruce Lennon are committed to developing young people in our country.
Gia Clarke (Founder and Trustee)
Gia Clarke is an independent HR Consultant and Entrepreneur. She holds a BSc Hons in Industrial Psychology. She consults to small to medium sized businesses. Gia is committed to guiding young talent in South Africa to their full potential. She has counselled in a not for profit centre for many years and cares deeply about making a difference.
Pebble Hlubi (Trustee)
Pebble Hlubi is an Entrepreneur, Project Manager, and Motivational Speaker. She sits on the board of Kaleidocode Pivot and is the Managing Director. Her experience and skillset have been earned over more than a decade in the ICT industry in both the network infrastructure and software development space, working as a project manager and mentor as well as operating in various leadership roles.
She has a passion for, and is an activist in various youth and women empowerment organisations, and is a member in good standing of the Phumlani M Foundation and the BWASA. When not in the office or working with one of her organisations, Pebble can be found spending time with her family or running.
